More about matchmaking beta:
Bandai Namco have finally managed to fix the connection problems the first two sessions of Jump Force open beta were plagued with. The beta servers are now working like they should, with matchmaking being exceptionally quick and seamless. With the first two sessions of Jump Force open beta being a failure due to numerous server issues, Bandai Namco were forced to cancel the remaining rounds and reschedule them for later. The publisher explained that the reason for this was the fact that they weren't satisfied with the online experience, as a large number of people weren't able to log in and participate in the beta. It took them just over ten days to announce the new open beta sessions, and many players from around the world were waiting with bated breath to see if the connection issues have indeed been resolved. Well, the first round of the new open beta schedule is over for today and we are pleased to report that we did not experience any lag or connection issues throughout the entirety of the session. Matchmaking was exceptionally fast - so much so that we never even got the chance to take part in the Practice Battle mode that you can join while waiting for a new match because the game would pair us up with a new opponent in a matter of seconds. The game's official subreddit has also seen players praise Bandai Namco's efforts of fixing the problems and delivering a stable experience this time around.

The other part of this was updating and adjusting the way we treated matchmaking, both in our Ranked events and elsewhere. This is where we're going to be talking about the latter. To start things off, here's a break down of the various systems we have at our disposal that can be used as part of our matchmaking system. While it might go without saying, we don't use all of these weights in all of our formats.
